Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ The Army Painter Masterclass: Drybrush Set - Hobby Brush Set with Three Sizes for Advanced and Professional Techniques in Tabletop Roleplaying, Boardgames, and Wargames Miniature Painting by Andrea White

The best dry brush except for cheap makeup brushes. Army artist at his best.

A few months ago I bought a very expensive Artis Opus dry brush set and fell in love with the sheer ability to paint miniatures in great detail. The main issue with the Artis Opus D Series is the price (about $80) and the fact that I often forget that cleaning this type of brush is time consuming. I wanted an alternative and possibly a backup of the D-Series, so I turned my attention to Army Painter's dry brush. They are almost identical in performance and hold up really well. They don't come in a fancy wooden box, which is fine. The bristles don't feather as much as the D series so range and angle are a bit limited but for 1/5 the price I would recommend the Army Painter for all day use. I am currently teaching mini painting classes and this is my go-to place for new artists. Gave it 3 stars for "Easy to clean" because dry brushes really hold paint and if you're not careful you can spend a lot of extra time just setting up your dry brushes before painting.
