Review on 📷 Nikon NIKKOR 500mm f/4E FL ED Vibration Reduction Fixed Lens with AF for Nikon DSLR Cameras by Jason Hayes

I bought this lens from a local camera shop and am very happy with it. Advantages of the 500mm f4 E-FL lens (compared to the G-series f4 lens): 1) lighter and more balanced - much easier to hold and use 2) the new rotating ring is extremely smooth and easy to adjust (Using ball bearings was a very good idea) 3) Removal of the VR rotary switch - the rotary switch was awkward to use, glad to see it's a regular switch now, thanks Nikon4) Sharper images - IMO not a game changer, but noticeable if you look closely; Images are still sharp with the TC20EIII. The G-series lenses were already extremely sharp, so I'm impressed that the new lens looks even sharper. I use the TC20EII teleconverter quite often.
