Review on Park Tool TB 2 Emergency Tire by Robert Wood

Revainrating 5 out of 5

200 mile insurance plan

The Park Tool Crash Boot is perfect when the streets don't cooperate and get rid of the junk. It goes on a big torn bike tire like a sticker. I drove about 200 more miles on this tire before I started to feel a bump while riding. After 20 miles my tire blew out and I changed it and put on another emergency boot. This time I'll heed the word "emergency" and quickly change the tire. For a few bucks, it really is better than walking home with a large piece of glass or rock ripping a big chunk out of your tube and tire. Pictured is my boot after 200 miles, it finally failed. 5/5 For a long-term solution, look for tire repair YouTube videos. GCN offers excellent tire sewing and permanent bicycle tire repair services with tire patches, flax thread, vulcanizing rubber glue, needles and shoe glue.
