This is a great product for relatively light setups that require a 12V DC input such as. B. a monitor (in my case Atomos Ninja V). A very simple solution that requires a power adapter or any USB-C output capable of delivering 12V. This eliminates the need for heavy NP-F batteries that would dangle from the back of my monitor and upset the balance. There are some disadvantages listed below, but it's not a big problem in my use case. Pros: Good length for most setups with the option to use cheap DC extension cords that can be used if the power source is a bit further away. Lightweight yet rugged with cord. Heads are well connected - Does exactly what it's supposed to do, no BSCons - Non-latching DC head and only 90 degree head available - Cable pulls 12v all the time even when the DC end is not connected (confirmed with USB tester) - Relatively more expensive and more of a niche use case
