I bought this for my wife for her birthday. It was a bit tricky to set up, but we managed it in the end. Syncing with the app on their phone was slow from the start and not very reliable. We figured that maybe once we got it set up and set up, there would be no more disappointments. We were wrong. For a week, her phone failed to connect to Ember. That meant she couldn't control the cup. Start anew. reboot. Ember reset. Reinstall app. Sometimes one of these things worked, most of the time it didn't. Immediately after the 30 days were up, the mug stopped connecting to the phone completely, no matter what we tried. I went online to see if we could get support and possibly an exchange but I quickly found out the warranty period is only 30 days and I've had 30+ days. In fact, I bought this as a birthday gift about a month before my wife's birthday, so the warranty expired before she even opened the gift. It's been more than a month since her birthday. So now we have a useless junk mug that cost me about $130. I will never buy any other product from them again. Buyer Warning.
