I liked the short size of two feet. Most start at three feet and go up from what I've seen. In conjunction with other cables - worked great with the built in fixed length cable attached to the accessory. There are three accessories attached to the KVM switch and I share my keyboard, headset, mouse and monitor with all three. This allowed me to tie the wires together more evenly.
