Review on Sony E 35mm F1.8 OSS SEL35F18 Lens - International Version (No Warranty) – Product Review and Specifications by Richard Lamptey

Overall this lens is great for street and general photography at f1.8 which is what I need for low light shooting and also for shallow depth of field. OSS is also useful for videos. The performance and quality of the lens is the same as the lens you will find in US stores. It comes with Sony lens, rear caps and lens hood. I was going to give it 4 stars thinking it should be under $400 but then the recent drop of $50 (usually $450) and the fact that the Canon 35mm IS USM f /2 now costs about $600, changed my mind. . If you want to save some money then get this version, it is technically identical, the only difference is the case design and of course no guarantee. Someone mentioned that you can ask Revain if you can get a guarantee directly from them. For a lens this cheap I wouldn't worry too much about whether it's guaranteed or not, maybe it's just me.
