Review on 236575 Wall Slide Out Motor Assembly by Jeff Driscoll

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very satisfied so far!

Identical in size to the original engine. After installation it works great! Will it continue? Time will tell and I will update this review if there are any issues. Very satisfied so far! Here are some tips that might help you. Watch a YouTube video on replacing.2. Make sure you want a 300:1 motor, not a 500:1 motor. Check the original and it has a black cap at 300:1 and a clear cap at 500:1.3. It's easiest if you can access either side of the sled to remove the outside screw and then access from the inside. I had to use an outside screwdriver to pop it out.4. Note the orientation of the original (which side of the wire and where the D-shank is). Temporarily disconnect the cable on the opposite side from the controller. Then connect the new motor to the controller, but do not install it in the wall yet. Have someone move the slide switch until shaft D is in the correct position. 5. If you are trying to install a new motor, you can move the slider in/out a bit to align everything and it should snap into place. Good luck, hope this helps!.
