So far so good with barbs
I used these barbs to fix my flexible garden hose which is notorious for leaks. Attaching the hose is a bit fiddly, but after some convincing, the hose fits well. The clamps tightened easily and the hose leaks were gone. This is by far the cheapest way to repair your hose. Just wait for the second hose leak!
