Review on 🔴 Milescraft 1219 CircleGuideKit - Achieve Perfect Circles with Ease by Mark Crawford

First off, this isn't a bad review. The tool is solidly made (albeit made of plastic) and should do its job well. With one caveat, sawdust can clog the joints between the router base and the template. But, boy, has it been redesigned. The designer missed the lessons of simplicity. Its saving grace was that it was cheaper than seemingly simple contraptions that you could make yourself. However, it solves a problem that others can't - tracing small circles as small as 1 1/2 inches. At first glance, how it works is counterintuitive and your initial setup can be a bit fiddly. a centering device for placing the router in the center of the base plate, which is then inserted into the main arm of the device. What's unclear to me is the addition of "Bonus 13" Base Offset, the function of which is repeated by the small circle attachment. But it seems like you're getting 3 products for a little more than the price of one. There are design elements that I like don't understand yet - maybe one day.
