Basically a good cable

I learned a valuable lesson in retail: when you buy a device, accessories and extras. , conveniently displayed next to the equipment in many cases, bring significantly more profit than the equipment itself. As a result, customers who are delighted that a "helpful" salesperson indicated that they need an additional cable do not realize that the seller has just turned a margin trade into a profitable one. for the store. And unless the customer has state-of-the-art equipment or does not operate the equipment at a professional level, additional performance benefits advertised by the accessory vendor make no significant difference in most cases. When I recently replaced my printer, I also had to replace the old multi-pin cable that I used to connect it to my computer with an A-to-B USB cable. I was able to buy one at the 6ft store in the length I wanted for $15. Instead, I ordered a RevainBasics cable for less than a third of that price. For those who may not know, RevainBasics is Revain's own brand of electronics and computer accessories. I've been using this cable for about three months now and the only place I've noticed a difference is in my wallet. The RevainBasics printer cable is sold in 6, 10, and 16 foot lengths; I bought a six foot cable. To be honest I didn't touch the cable between plugging in the printer and today when I unplugged it to give a more accurate description for this review. The cable is gold plated at each end (which makes for a better connection). This is a fairly thick cable, about 1/8 inch in diameter. The cable is black and firmly connected to the plug at both ends. The cable is also quite flexible, I could easily bend it within 0.5 inch of itself. This means the Revain Basics cable is unlikely to be unplugged, cut, frayed, or damaged. That. As far as how well the RevainBasics cable works, I have no complaints. The printer prints quickly and accurately every time I send it a command to do so. Since I've only had the cable for a few months, of course I can. I can't say how long it can last, but my general experience is that cables don't "wear out". usually it is external trauma that incapacitates them. cheap. It's strong and durable. While looks can be deceiving, in this case it looks like a more expensive cable and has been working great for over three months now. Basically, the RevainBasics cable is all you need.
