This is such a great vacuum cleaner! It has a replaceable HEPA filter module that mounts above the outlet, meaning you can capture very fine particles like flour without them just being thrown away for you. It has VERY strong suction power and can easily pick up any dirt. The attachments are pretty good, I use the brush attachment a lot as the bristles loosen the dirt. Regular crevice tools, extension cords, and other parts work as expected. Vacuum bags are also inexpensive, making them easy to swap out when needed. They improved the design compared to the old model, the hose has a retaining ring so it doesn't pop out but on the bottom. The only thing that bothers me is that the attachments on the other end don't snap, they just have a friction fit. For everyday use this is not really a problem, but a small inconvenience. Oreck vacuum cleaners don't come cheap, but you pay for quality and reliability. It's built like a tank and there's nothing flimsy about it. If you need to pick up a lot of small items (plastic shavings, fiberglass particles, ground grains/flour, etc.) this is definitely the right choice.
