We have three pets in a cage, two guinea pigs and one dwarf rabbit. For better or worse, none of them like the litter box we bought for them so a good litter is great not only to give them a comfortable walking surface but also to help them manage their mess better. This bedding was available, subscribable and storeable, and supplied in large quantities at a relatively low cost. I was excited about the purchase but aware of the possible reservations. When it arrived it was time to check it out right away. The first thing I noticed was dust. Paper bedding is almost always dusty, even dust-free ones. But it was VERY dusty. In the end, the animals had to put down new bedding before the dust settled. It worked to keep the clutter at bay, although pricier bedding is slightly better. At the same time, we returned to the previous bedding, but used Fresh News as a filler in the tub, which the animals liked. It worked well enough for us to buy again, even as bedding, but it worked best as bedding.
