MIELE REMODELS - BRUSHES ARE TOO SHORT AND TOO SOFT - 'COVER' ON FLOOR

DO NOT buy this MIele Parquet Twister! We have six different MIele vacuum cleaners - a four-storey house with dogs, cats and children! We particularly like the MIele H1 Tactical Stick vacuum cleaner. (We also have two older stick vacuums called MIele H1 Quickstep.) When we originally bought these stick brushes, we switched to this Parquet Twister floor brush for our hardwood and marble floors. That's how easy it is to quickly vacuum floors with a twister brush. It's so easy to maneuver and get under and around things. These little stick vacuums aren't cheap, but they're very powerful - there's nothing quite like it on the market. So a few months ago we finally had to replace the Parquet Twister floor brush on two of our rod brushes. We were so glad to know that Miele still makes the same Twister parquet - same model number etc - so we ordered from Revain. Absolute disappointment! MIele has shortened the real brushes and are now much softer. The brushes break and the vacuum cleaner "sticks" to the floor due to the amazing suction power and you can hardly push the vacuum cleaner across the floor. :(We called MieleUSA several times and the customer rep finally admitted that the actual brushes were made shorter and softer and that their design team was aware of customer dissatisfaction. They suggested that we ONLY run the vacuum at a lower speed should to reduce the suction power.Really?A $300 vacuum with less suction power is unacceptable!I have called many small independent Miele vacuum dealers in the US hoping to find the original Parquet Twister. No luck but many MIele dealers have heard this complaint from other customers I hope MIele reads this and returns the original design to the Parquet Twister.
