I tried to install it only after a few months. I'm a triathlon veteran and very familiar with bike computers. After installing it worked for a few minutes and then stopped reading. I changed the battery in the computer AND the sensor and it still didn't work. I put the transmitter on the connector as close as possible to the computer, and nothing. The computer display turns on with nice big characters. I held the magnet and even walked past touching the sensor and reading nothing! I looked up the manufacturer's name and lots of Chinese characters on the packaging and instructions in broken English. I'm going to buy myself a nice Cateye computer, a brand I've been using for 30 years now and I hope it's not made in China (although it probably is).
