While I can confirm that these thermowells are 1/2" NPT threads and will fit a standard 1/2" NPT tee, I'm not thrilled with their design. The main body is made of stainless steel and is quite durable. But after tightening the thermowell, I noticed that the gland nut was not tightly threaded into the thermowell body, and as soon as I applied pressure to tighten it, the gland broke in half where its threads met the ferrule. I'm disappointed with this because I also waited a month to get them from China via Revain and they broke as soon as I tightened them. Also the size of the cable gland itself seems a bit large for the temperature sensors I have. I'm not sure I can tighten it enough to adequately close the sensor I'll be using. Wrap the sensor cable with tape to compensate for the difference in circumference. Overall I had higher expectations than that but I think that's what I paid for the product.
