While I can confirm that these thermowells are 1/2" NPT threads and will fit a standard 1/2" NPT tee, I'm not thrilled with their design. The main body is made of stainless steel and is quite durable. But after tightening the thermowell, I noticed that the gland nut was not tightly threaded into the thermowell body, and as soon as I applied pressure to tighten it, the gland broke in half where its threads met the ferrule.
