I love these plates. I try to use as many sustainable materials as possible, which is sometimes difficult because they are usually much more expensive than plastic and paper. I usually buy this type of cymbal from another brand, but I have found that they are a bit cheaper than another brand. They are slightly smaller than another brand that had 10 inch plates but the same number of plates and held heavy food just as well. The only thing I was interested in was the white one? The other brand I usually buy is Off-White. Both are made from sugar cane pulp. So I don't know about that, but overall it worked really well.
