Great solution for a puppy

This is a great purchase since you just got a puppy. I've had it for over a week now and it lives up to all expectations. Puppy of large breed and energetic. I got it when he was 2 months old. The first few nights I used the crate I got from his older brother (42"*28"). But a few problems with it: 1. The box is heavy. Once you place it in place, it cannot be moved multiple times a day.2. The cage was too big for a puppy of that age, it gave neither comfort nor warmth. I know I could buy a smaller box but that didn't make sense to me because it's growing fast. So the main issue was mobility around the house where I needed his "drawer" next to my desk during the day and in the bedroom at night where he wouldn't feel abandoned (it's the same kid). - this playpen is the perfect solution: 1. It is very durable - the puppy has occasional escape attempts - as hard as he bangs his paws against the walls - and after over a week - no tears, no breaks. The fort is still standing :)2. It's very wide inside - I put a big pillow, a blue pillow, a big stuffed animal, some small toys - and it has enough space for you to play and sleep whenever you want.3. The cover on top and the fact that the bottom half of the walls are covered - I find that gives the pup a little bit more cosiness, security and warmth. As he walks around trying to find the perfect place to sleep, he leans against the wall and lies down. Portability - so for me it's less of a trip outside the house and more of a trip between rooms, usually twice a day. It's lightweight and easy to flip on one side and take out of the room or fold and hold. I don't stack because I have his stuff in there, so I just grab and pull.5. The price is more or less similar to other compatible playpens and yet it looks more solid than others in the photos and at no extra cost6. It doesn't smell and it's easy to clean if the pup urinates a few drops when I'm excited before picking him up. One note: large puppies should not be left without a flash from above as the walls will not support their weight when you sit up and lean on them. For small breeds this should not be a problem. For me - I don't mind because I feel the closed top adds a sense of security. The puppy has been with us for 2 weeks, only 1 week in this arena, he is about 10 weeks old - and he sleeps all night with no problems. And comes without a fight during the day or 1-2 hours at a time. I would recommend it to any new puppy owner.
