Bought this on a forum member's recommendation for the new Royal Enfield 650s which have oil filters on the underside of the engine right in the path of rocks who might decide to take it out. This filter cap fits the diameter perfectly. It's a bit longer (1 1/2 inches) than the standard filter but doesn't protrude too much at all and offers really good protection. A small price to pay for peace of mind.
