I use this laser to scan the temperature of my RC nitro motor. Works EXCELLENT! Has a high wearing temperature together with a low very cool! ! The only thing I've found is the accuracy of the infrared thermometer itself. I ran a few basic tests where I knew the exact temperature and I was wrong by a few degrees. Not that much though, 3-4 degrees different than it really is. but doesn't affect what I use it for.
