Also plan to use it to find cold places around the house in winter. The quality is good and very easy to use. I am very happy with the purchase.

I needed a 3D printing thermal gun to test the accuracy of my heated bed so I got this one because I really liked that it had a color screen and it looked easy to use. It came with batteries and an instruction manual and was easy to use. If you are looking for a temporary pistol that is easy to use and affordable then get this one. You will not regret it!

This unit looks solid and works great. I have tested and compared it to several other gauges I have and it is now my surface temperature tester. The temperature recorded is definitely right within specification (2 +/-). This is how all non-contact infrared measuring devices work. If you need more accurate readings, use a direct contact meter.

I use this laser to scan the temperature of my RC nitro motor. Works EXCELLENT! Has a high wearing temperature together with a low very cool! ! The only thing I've found is the accuracy of the infrared thermometer itself. I ran a few basic tests where I knew the exact temperature and I was wrong by a few degrees. Not that much though, 3-4 degrees different than it really is. but doesn't affect what I use it for.

I just ordered one of these and I have to say it's very useful. I am beyond thrilled with this device for the price. It's accurate, reads temperature quickly, and is fairly easy to use. I use this device a little differently than most. I have a draft in my house and use it to find cold spots around windows that need a little extra insulation. I also see how it would be very useful for cooking. This is a great product!

Wow, works great I've had a thermalhawk that failed within a year of using it so I'm just hoping it will last over a year with daily use. It has a cool feature that has a circle of pointers to help you when trying to get readings from a specific location with high accuracy. The display is backlit so I can read in any bright or dark place. Overall a great product, let's see how long it lasts. Thanks, it looks good and I can't find anything wrong with it.

I bought this to measure the temperature of an aluminum heatsink in a 3D printer app. be well over 100C. Don't want to measure hot brass, even with the settings suggested in the manual. The sensitivity settings don't help, it's just a correction factor. I used it at a distance of 10mm from the object of interest. Nada! Works great on the walls of your home but not on hot objects.
