Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Enhance Your Bicycle's Durability with Mr. Tuffy Tire Liner: A Key for Flat-Free Rides by Jacob Rasmussen

Looks good but falls off on the first ride.

More or less a patch that covers the entire tire. Great concept right? Well, not really.1. They are very difficult to center and tighten. If it's not in the middle and doesn't go under the tire but in one of the sides, what's the point? 2. Once you have it centered on the tube you now need to place it on the rim to keep it or the partially inflated tube from falling off. A little glue will go a long way here.3. There was a small section I couldn't sit up straight no matter how much fuss I made. Correct one area, the other will be slightly off-center. Okay, I figured 90% coverage was better than nothing.4. After driving 6 miles on my first ride on a brand new slime tube, I got a flat tire after a sharp left turn in the road. Upon inspection, this product turned out to have cut it as it wasn't in the middle of this piece. I really wanted this to work well, but it ended up causing what it was supposed to prevent. The lining needs to be slightly wider and have a light adhesive applied to keep it in place. Of course, due to the spirally folded folds from the packaging, it doesn't fit well in the tire.

Pros
  • handy piece
Cons
  • so far so good
