Clutter Reducing Litter Box

I've spent a lot of time researching litter boxes. I knew I needed one that I would hand clean BUT there would be as little mess as possible. (I've considered "self-cleaning" litter boxes, but none have had generally good reviews at an affordable price that doesn't require me to purchase special bags for the rest of my cat's life.) Then I started looking for tall drawers that looked great until I found top entry closed drawers. It looked great until I found THAT. The simple fact that it has holes at the top for the stuffing to fall back into the box is ingenious and very effective. Somehow my cat still manages to throw litter on the floor every now and then and it's quite difficult to clean (you have to put your hand through the hole which I do so my 1 year old doesn't put his hands in the big litter box and doesn't remove the lid, which is pretty easy), but I'm VERY happy with this box, although I thought it was overpriced ($50) for what are basically two plastic containers that fit together and have a few holes in them . FYI, it comes with its own trash scoop but no hook for it, which can be easily detached with the COMMAND hook.
