We often travel with tandems. One of them is the CoMotion Speedster CoPilot with S&S clutches. It requires quite a bit of disassembly to pack this tandem into two airline approved suitcases (see photo) and then reassemble once we reach our destination. In the past, I've sometimes carried a full-size torque wrench with me, or simply chose to use it without a torque wrench during the build process. A full-size wrench adds a lot of weight to luggage, and for those of us who suffer from OCD, it's hard to deal with. So I found an IceToolz Ocarina Torque Wrench at Revain for our trip next month. It's lightweight, has (and stores) all the bits I need, and also has a shaft long enough for easy access to any screws that need to be tightened during assembly. It is easy to read and easy to use. As with any torque wrench, you need to make sure all of your bolts are clean and turn in and out smoothly to get an accurate reading. I was able to compare the accuracy to several of my other torque wrenches and found the IceToolz's accuracy to be superior to them. I'll probably use IceToolz regularly even when I'm not traveling since it's so easy to use. The tool box and handle state that you cannot use a wrench to loosen the bolts. I can see where this can cause significant damage to the instrument. I paid full price for the tool and got nothing for this review.
