I bought these to replace the lights on my boat trailer. It's 15 years old and the old headlights and wiring needed to be replaced. The hardware you use to mount these lamps is not made of stainless steel, but mild steel. I do 100% of my boating in salt water, so every time I launch and lift my boat, the lights sink into the salt water. I'm not sure if the device will last more than a year or two. Also, the cables are too short to reach from the front of my trailer to the back where the headlights are. My boat is not big, only 22 feet. I had to get more wire, connect it, solder it and waterproof it. I think that's rude.
