Review on 🕯️ YIWER Flameless Candles Set of 3 Real Wax Pillars, 4", 5", 6", with Realistic Dancing LED Flames, 10-Key Remote Control and Timer Function, 300+ Hours, Ivory by Chris Hunt

Not worth it: boring, disappointing, cheap materials.

I bought these flameless candles because they are made of wax and run on 2 AA batteries, not 3 AAA. Using 2 x AA batteries should extend their life between recharges (AAA batteries in similar candles last a maximum of 20 hours). Not only does the remote control have on/off functions, but you can also set timers and even turn off the moving "flame" or adjust the brightness/dimming. Unfortunately, I immediately had a few issues with these candles that I didn't have with the other four sets of similar candles we have (other brands bought a few years earlier): 1) The battery compartments are too small to accommodate the standard AA size - Batteries. We were able to force them in after removing the plastic cover from the batteries (I've never had this problem with anything that requires batteries - ever). Since we had to force the batteries in, removing the batteries is very difficult and we have to pry them out with a flathead screwdriver - on all three plugs. 2) The largest of the three candles is dark even if we put fresh batteries in it. We tried adjusting the dimming with the remote and we can see that it dims the light even more, but this candle just doesn't get as bright as the other two. 3) When I say "bright as the other two" in #2 above, don't assume that this means that two well-functioning candles are actually bright because they aren't, even remotely so . They barely glow unlike my other similar candles which are so bright at night that we use them as night lights in the bathroom they just wouldn't perform and instead sit on the mantel over the wood stove and barely cast a faint light on the wall behind throw, but of course they don't illuminate any part of the room in any way. With fresh batteries, they're so dim you won't even notice them through a dark room. Seriously, they are that bad. (But the two that keep working when the other is so low you can barely see it actually stays that low for about two and a half to three weeks before we have to take those batteries out and replace them with new ones, so I guess that which is a plus.) Other words Ovami, they are very disappointing even for the price. I would not buy these candles again and am very disappointed in their performance. They look just as good and perform the same function when they are off and when they are on and set to full brightness. If you are looking for candles like this, look elsewhere as they will only disappoint.
