To be honest this thing looks great straight out of the box and appears to be very well made. cuts. Cons: The needle attachment area is too thick. The pencil doesn't go all the way into the corner. It's awkward to tilt the pen, and all the knobs have to be tightened twice to keep it in place. The flat side of the needle section is fine for some things, but not everything that isn't flat. The compass is more suitable for floor coverings. I think this is best for cutting Formik countertops firmly into a wall or any other precise marking with a nice flat surface to work with. Conventional repair surfaces are too uneven.
