This lamp ticks all of my boxes for a great bedside lamp. There is a knob to adjust the brightness of the light continuously, not just high-medium-dim. There's great dim 'mood light', super bright light to wake me up in the morning, and everything in between. The 2 USB ports are handy for charging my phone and lighting it up for the night. I haven't needed it yet, but the base also has an outlet. I think you could connect a clock/radio or some other device. The power outlet and USB ports provide power even when the light is off. The black metal construction feels solid and I love the sleek, modern look of the lamp.
