I have to give a solid 5 star rating for this unit. I have had several pairs of the NRG line, the 1.0 and 2.0 models, this is my first model from the 3.0 series. What they've done here is magical in my opinion - they've solved the glaring issues with previous versions by introducing a braided cable. and that, in my opinion, makes them basically perfect. The headphones fit my ears well and the sound these $25 phones produce is very, very comfortable. I was surprised when I first used it and still enjoy it 5 years later. The microphone function works perfectly, I often turn it on for conference calls/go2meetings so I can get up and move around the house. Others hear me loud and clear, and I've never had a single breakdown. Long story, give them a chance. I recommend version 3.0 if possible. They will serve you well. Thank you for reading!
