Quite simply, it's an iPhone. Although the battery isn't included, the initial "wow" has worn off and I'm using it less frequently (I didn't put it down for two months when the first one arrived), so it's better and more than adequate for a day's use. Typically, even as late as the following morning, 30% persists. It charges rapidly with an Apple block (I got the original for $500 on Amazon).
