Benefits - costs! Nintendo wants to charge you $30 for a USB Ethernet adapter. Works out of the box with Nintendo Switch! I set it up first using one of the two USB ports on the side of the Switch Loading Dock. But for testing purposes I switched it to a USB port on the back next to the HDMI cable and it WORKS! - I was able to statically assign the IP, subnet, gateway and DNS via the switch's Internet interface without any problems. - No problem configuring DHCP reservation for this card. Cons - I would like 1000/100/10 and not just 100/10. Other Thoughts - I did not need to use a driver CD and have not tested this device in a Windows environment as it was designed to be used with the Nintendo Switch.
