I use it with Nintendo Switch. My switch sometimes has issues with my home wifi and this adapter worked great to connect it to my LAN.

Cheap adapter that works.

Works. My laptop doesn't have an ethernet port (thanks Apple) so I had to buy this USB adapter. Just plug and play - no software required. Small and light LEDs light up when working. One star off because the 10/100 side is a bit loose and sometimes the cable slips out and I lose connection. Otherwise works like clockwork.

More stable and consistent than wireless. A little faster than 5g.

Stable internet on Nintendo Switch. I have tested over 100 wireless, 5G wireless and this wired connection on Nintendo Switch. My baseline connection on a wired PC and phone over 5g was the usual 60-65Mbps down and 6Mbps down. Nintendo switch results. Wireless was between 8 and 11 Mbps down and 3 up. 5g was 28 to 42 Mbps down and 4.5 and 5.1 up. The cabling with this unit was 37 to 40 down and 5.0 to 5.2 up. This made the connection more stable and faster than 5G. My wireless router is in sight

Confirmed that it works with Nintendo Switch out of the box!

Benefits - costs! Nintendo wants to charge you $30 for a USB Ethernet adapter. Works out of the box with Nintendo Switch! Product arrived on time. Luckily I bought 2 of these adapters. The first one I used worked and still works. When I started using the second adapter it broke and didn't work. The return period has expired and it really needs to be replaced due to a defect. Hit and miss points for me; 50/50 Gave 2 stars because 1 worked, arrived on time, but no more stars because the other adapter is now a good paperweight. 3 ordered, 3 defective, dubious lottery win

Two ordered and both inoperative on arrival. I hooked up two switches first and one worked fine, the other would turn itself off every ten minutes or so. The one I tested on my PC disconnected intermittently, so I played a game of swapping cables and devices. I checked all the cables and they were working fine, one of the devices was only negotiating 10Mbps internet which seems impossible. Is no STABLE SPEED

UPDATE: Got a replacement device and set it up with a CD, but the defect still occurs. This is a false advertisement claiming that it offers reliable and consistent speed because it is NOT TRUE. I run videos, games and internet software and they all cause lag and intermittent connections when this device is on.
