Two ordered and both inoperative on arrival. I hooked up two switches first and one worked fine, the other would turn itself off every ten minutes or so. The one I tested on my PC disconnected intermittently, so I played a game of swapping cables and devices. I checked all the cables and they were working fine, one of the devices was only negotiating 10Mbps internet which seems impossible. I tried again the next day and I tried the one that worked best the day before and Windows tells me something I've never seen before that the device is trying to draw more power than my USB -jack can deliver - strange. All of a sudden I smell smoke and what used to be a decent USB dongle to connect to the network suddenly stopped working. Now I have one that does nothing and two that work but shut down 5% of the time. another brand, maybe a gigabit box.
