Review on 🍳 Rösle 7.9 Inch Fine Mesh Kitchen Strainer with Stainless Steel Round Handle by Greg Lockhart

I was willing to try this filter despite knowing it was made in China, mainly due to a strong recommendation from ATC. When he received it, however, it became clear that the manufacturer had cut corners and attempted to cover up imperfections by painting over the welds with a metallic silver paint that he thought would go unnoticed (see photos). Well I won't pay $50 for a cheap strainer my food will most likely come into contact with this paint which could potentially contain lead. Rösle and other manufacturers - Please return to production in Germany and other countries where product quality can be better controlled. I'm willing to pay more for quality items that I know will last a lifetime (and I know I'm not alone).
