I have moderate asthma. Before this purchase, I would wake up daily coughing and spitting up copious amounts of thick mucus. Not sure of the benefits and bought a bedroom unit. A few days later there is no cough. Unbelievable, that's why I bought a second device for the living room. I have now recommended the device to a friend for purchase. I am very satisfied with the two devices I bought. The night mode is very quiet and definitely doesn't bother me and my wife while sleeping. After using our robot vacuum cleaner, the numbers on the device decrease significantly, indicating that the air quality is better. Bob G
