Ordered size XL. 5-11 and 185 but lean and muscular. Actually, the size XL was tighter in the hips than I wanted - it feels like compression pants, which I tried to avoid by going the size XL. They are unusually long and almost reach the floor unless I roll them up or something. Very loose around the ankles although very narrow at the hips. The material is comfortable, the pockets are large, but the pants suffer from Chinese design. Like many Chinese clothing options on Amazon, these are made for very thin people with little or no muscles. I have quite a bit of fat but the XL is too tight. I need an XXL to at least fit my hips but probably medium length although I'm very fit and low in fat. These pants are for very thin people - think marathon runners. Weirdly, I'm a runner, averaging close to 100 miles a week, but I'm too tall even for XL.
