Review on πŸ”₯ Soldering Iron with Circuited Protection: Adjustable Temperature Range of 356℉ to 896℉ by Tory Richardson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Haven't used it extensively yet, but seems pretty good.

I only spent about two hours on it. The tip of the wand is made of silicone and is very flexible. PROS: It seems to hold temperature very well when soldering. It has an auto-suspend feature that is activated by the wand movement. It turns on automatically when you pick up the probe. -- Uses a huge, heavy transformer. -- It has a temperature calibration mode. So if you have a thermometer you can calibrate the temperature shown on the LCD screen to the exact temperature of the tip. The probe station is made of aluminum and is very heavy. This works very well. Hakko 900M series tips fit this stick, for example Hakko T18-D 1.2 NEGATIVES. Mine came with two tips, a large knife tip and a small conical tip. I think a 1.2mm and 2.4mm bit tip would be MUCH more useful. I have nothing bad to say about this machine. I used it for about two hours total. I had no problems with that. It just works and works well. This thing will probably last forever.

Pros
  • Welding and soldering
Cons
  • Slightly dented
