Patience. Once you've set up your headset, the 50R's features and sound quality make for a pretty comfortable ride. exclusively via the mobile app. (The Apple Store reviews are pretty accurate on this). I recommend downloading the desktop app. Using the mobile app and the included Wi-Fi adapter is not an intuitive process. I work with technology and tried watching online videos and app instructions first and the desktop app is MUCH easier. After downloading the desktop app, first plug in your headphones so you can hear audio indicators during setup. After connecting the headphones, turn on the device and connect it to the computer with the supplied USB cable. The first task is to update the SENA unit to the latest system software. During the update, install the app on your mobile phone. You must use it to manage the device's features and functions. DO NOT attempt to pair it with your phone until the device software update is complete. Installing the device on the helmet is very easy. I opted for the included clip and velcro which holds the device in place very securely. It can sometimes be difficult to find the various buttons on gloves, especially on thicker gloves, but I expect it will get easier with practice. I haven't intentionally tried to use voice commands yet, but accidentally started calling people I didn't mean to contact when voice commands accidentally activated.
