I knew the measurements when I ordered the product. But what I didn't know was that my cats would find the material too uncomfortable to lie on and the size of the mat would be too small for my cats to grab and scratch. Mat, feed my cats while they are on the mat and even spray catnip all over the mat. But my cats refuse to use it. Instead, they prefer $5 cardboard scratching posts from my local Kroger's! I try to use the rugs as walking mats for the people in my family's "mud room" so they aren't a total waste. But I regret ordering this product.
