This was the perfect cat scratching post for us! Our cat has muscle problems and cannot stand very well. Since he likes to scratch, we looked for a scratching post that he can use while lying down and that he doesn't have to climb on. As soon as we received it, it immediately came up and started scratching! The only thing I didn't like was that it was sent folded and it took a few days to straighten it out.

I didn't like the smell at all. I put it on the balcony for a few days, it's still terrible. So it's been weeks and I think I'll have to recycle it when they take it! I would like to know what is this chemical smell because it can be harmful to me, my family and anyone who buys it! I don't want to buy such a product again, and yet there have been several. You may have to stop here to buy certain things.

Too small. This is great for a little new kitten. Not even remotely suitable for an adult cat. He's half the size of my guy. I will buy many more. So far he's tossed it across the room, threw it under the sofa and put it in the laundry room where his tray is. To let me know I'm a stupid cat lady and I should have known better. I will say this is a great product for a new cat lover, it is very well made and will be very durable for a little kitty to learn from.

I have used Cat Claws scratch mats which my cats love. So it took my cat a day to figure out what this rug was for, but now she uses it multiple times a day and I have to hunt that thing down and get it back where it belongs. It lasts much longer than any cardboard pads I've tried (it's still intact after almost a year) and doesn't spill dirt all over the floor. I have gifted the mats to all my friends who live with cats and would recommend them to anyone who needs a scratching surface.

I knew the measurements when I ordered the product. But what I didn't know was that my cats would find the material too uncomfortable to lie on and the size of the mat would be too small for my cats to grab and scratch. Update: My cats absolutely loved them. They worked like a charm. Now I'm ordering a new set. However, the newly arrived mats are in two different colors. It's not even about the batch of dye. One is cream, the other nature. I hope the seller will solve this problem for me. I bought it to put a soft chest in my bedroom. My cats tore up the previous fabric.
