Although I have used detergent capsules before, I have never bought them in a large jug. When I removed the lid, there was a layer of detergent on the inside of the lid and container. I guess some pop along the way. I didn't go down far enough to be sure. But maybe that's just typical of the big IDK mugs. Apart from the detergent coating, they work perfectly. I don't usually have very dirty or soiled laundry, so I don't know how they handle these things, but for laundry that just needs a standard wash, they get the job done for almost half the price of Tide or Gain. Pods. I just want the scent to be a little stronger after washing.
