First the positives: The Aida fabric is much thicker and stiffer than I expected. Very nice weave with clear gaps. The print is very clear. Easy to use. All yarns are delivered sorted on cards. Well! Comes with a large cutting magnification with thread numbers. Supplied in a nice resealable pack of 2 needles. Now for the cons: This is not a starter kit. Even as a middle pointer, I was confused. letters. Numbers and colors seem to indicate the same things. The chart is printed on the sides, which is fine as long as it doesn't roll on the frame. The yarn is a cotton yarn with long filaments, so it doesn't tend to fray, but it also makes the surface dull (unlike DMC yarn). Colors are not as strong as described. I haven't finished the project yet, so I don't know how the seal will wash off. I'll try to update this later. In general. I think the set is good for the price. It just requires a little more thought on your part.
