Center Cut - Poor Design

I purchased this pad to seal/buff granite countertops with a 5 1/2 inch polisher. At first the pad worked great. However, as others have pointed out, the pad is perforated through the center cutout, causing the outer circle to detach and fly off! (On my sideboard, the center circle remained attached with Velcro). So I really only have two uses for this product. I need to look for something similar but without the center cutout.
