They are perfect for my 5 year old elementary school kindergarten. He has trouble closing his jeans, the elastic waistband is just what I was looking for in jeans. I bought a size 7 Slim and have provided some photos with some measurements to give you an idea of the size. (I hesitate to order clothes online for fear they won't fit me. I couldn't find them anywhere else so I took a chance and I'm very happy.)
