I've always had trouble putting salt and/or pepper in my salt and pepper shakers. I've gone through several salt and pepper shakers and all have had trouble adding new spices. I also had trouble transporting the salt and pepper shaker to my new home and threw away the condiments before moving. With this salt and pepper set you can choose the hole size for each shaker and you have a wide range of open holes, from fully closed and ready to move to fully open and ready to refill and everything in between. I also like that the shaker is quite large to hold a decent amount of spice so it lasts longer. This set is a beautiful clear conical glass and has a beautiful modern design. The set looks good on my kitchen table. I highly recommend these salt and pepper shakers. These are the best I've found in over 30 years of searching.
