The first one they sent had problems and I couldn't safely connect it to my computer's fast USB-C port. Sent it back and got a new one. This works better - more reliable and faster. Can move files from ORICO drive to my internal drive at around 900MB/s and write from my internal drive to ORICO at around 600MB/s. up to 50-100MB/s. This usually happens after moving about 10 gigabytes of data. The drive feels very hot, so I think it's a heat issue. This thing is tiny and obviously doesn't have a large heatsink or any sort of airflow, other than the aluminum case. So unless you move large files back and forth on a regular basis, this is a pretty good drive for the price.
