I ordered the version with a ring and they fit perfectly when I installed them on my crank! I used a drop of lube inside before tightening them. But I did cover the bottom edge of the shoulder that actually touches the crank when I installed them on the cranks to avoid crank pin squeaking. I regularly check that they are still tight, but they have been tight for over a month now. Bonus: There is a tiny inscription on the front of the screw about the aluminum used, so you can tell at first glance that they are AL screws. Fits perfectly. The price is right.
