Very easy to install and easy to use. The voltage readings are normal, I checked it with a voltmeter. I also like the on/off option. However, the battery percentage (%) is far from accurate. When the voltage is 12.7V, the percentage display shows 76%. A 12 volt system will charge 100% at 12.7+ volts. This is probably because this unit is rated for 48v and there is no way to set it up for a 12v system, the charge percentage is disabled. Since I'm only interested in the voltage value, the percentage doesn't matter to me, so it works fine as long as the voltage value is accurate. I will try one. When I first connected the unit to my 12 volt system it was connected to the converter/charger and reading 13.4 volts and was 100% charged. I will unplug the new volt meter and plug it back in without the converter/charger connected and after it lets it rest and drops to 12.7V. It is possible for the voltmeter to set to 100% when first connected to the battery. Worth a try. Update: I unplugged the device to see if I could reset the percentage but it made no difference. However, the voltage measurement works perfectly.
