The plastic was easy to apply and didn't take long. I installed it on the side of my RV about 20 feet away. I also installed it on the front of the trailer. The paneling appears to have shrunk along the sun-facing side of the pendant. I trimmed it and sealed the ends with butyl tape. A few weeks later I was on the roof checking what appeared to be Dicor etc and noticed the paneling had shrunk about two inches. The ends of the butyl tape came loose and there was a gap of about an inch at each end. However, the front fairing I added didn't shrink but didn't receive direct sunlight like the side of the trailer. Strange. I lay the new piece on the side of the trailer, leave it a few inches longer and test it out in a week and then cut it down.
